We are head over heels for brides that incorporate succulents into their special day. This modern trend can stand alone, creating a simple and clean look, or can be added to the most extravagant of bouquets, adding a pop of organic green. We love how brides have been using succulents. From bouquets, to cake decorations, to invitations, to wedding favors: the possibilities are endless. Here are some of our favorite looks…

Straws are a perfect accent to add to any event, including weddings. They are an unexpected pop of color mixed with a little bit of retro. Add them to your specialty drink or to a retro glass bottled soda. They’ll be sure to put a smile on every guest’s face (and they look super cute in pictures).
Here are a few sites where you can find these cute additions:
Looking for a fun way to spice up a blank wall or table during your event? Looking for a pop of texture and color? Maybe you’re cutting your budget a little close or need something to keep you busy in the weeks leading up to your big day; you can’t go wrong with tassel garland. This cute decor item has been showing up a lot recently on different wedding blogs and Pinterest boards. It’s even a cute addition to a bedroom or living room post event!
Bring the indoors outside with one of our favorite trends: the outdoor lounge area. We love an unexpected settee, armchair, and pouf set up in a courtyard. It serves as a perfect spot to have a seat after a few songs of dancing or a comfortable place to put your feet up, while still enjoying the outdoor reception.
This should be enough “pinspiration” for the brides out there to get a start on the outdoor lounge area at your upcoming reception. You can thank us later.

We love snapping pictures of little details we find charming during wedding ceremonies and receptions! Whether the pictures are of the cake or dessert table, the guest book, the centerpieces, or the cutest little ring-bearers, we make sure our followers know what’s going on. We also love the fact that brides have taken note of this recent social trend and have guests hashtag something relating to the event, typically the bride and groom’s names, i.e. #johnandsarahwedding. It’s a fun way to get different perspectives on your special day.
Whether it makes an appearance on an invitation, a drink menu, a “ceremony, this way” sign, or seat assignments for a wedding reception, we love the trend that is making a major comeback: calligraphy. Wedding trends come and go, but calligraphy is forever. This fun and classic art form is the perfect combination of tradition and creativity.
When deciding if you want to go with calligraphy or not, make sure it compliments your personal style as well as the overall feel of the wedding. The invitation is typically the first thing that your guests will receive so it initially sets the tone for your event. Regardless, our hearts will always skip a beat!
