We are thrilled to share these fantastic photos from Kaleen & Tom’s winter wedding under our clear, heated tent! The simple greenery with white florals complemented the Allan House perfectly and tastefully incorporated touches of their Irish heritage. This cute couple (or maybe just Tom) also added some personal touches to the decor with Star Wars koozies and a Death Star groom’s cake.

Sandra and Ryan were married in January at the Central Christian Church across the street from the Allan House. Later that evening the wedding party and guests strolled over to the Allan House for a sweet reception coordinated by Your Wedding Your Way. Gorgeous florals by Exquisite Petals and lighting from D&H Lighting set a magical mood for Sandra and Ryan’s special day!
At the Allan House, our staff and preferred vendors are flexible and creative when it comes to helping our couples prepare for their wedding day. For a funky, yet peaceful and elegant wedding with positive vibes, a bohemian wedding is most likely just your style.
According to the experts at The Knot, the bohemian chic wedding is in this year. For the more free-spirited couples in Austin, our local companies have had the opportunity to design and perfect this wedding trend. Courtesy of Loot Vintage Rentals and Gypsy Floral Events are these breathtaking table and seating arrangements featured above and below.
When it comes to your color palette, the use of terracotta, mustard and orange with other natural earth tones will set the mood and lift everyone’s spirits. To carry out the boho wedding trend, a Woodstock-inspired, bell-sleeve wedding dress is just right for a bold and beautiful look.
Austin is known for its local and fresh attitude, so bring it into your wedding with organic flower arrangements, wooden dessert utensils that are Eco-friendly, or use natural accents such as driftwood. Bold aztec patterned rugs, crisp and airy white linens, and flowing, whimsical dream catchers will harmonize the space.
Caroline and Adam’s bright April wedding was complete with a beautiful ball gown and Tiny Pies for dessert. Caroline + Ben Photography caught some special moments and Royal Fig Catering brought their A-game. The party continued with Hill Country DJ and was all seamlessly coordinated by In Her Shoes Coordination. We loved working with this couple (and their fabulous vendor team) on their special day!
Handcrafted wood works, copper accented dream catchers, lace tepees, gorgeous floral, scrumptious food and drink, and so much more — our Bohemian Summer Open House was everything we could have dreamed of. We hope everyone that came out had an absolutely wonderful time and hopefully spotted some great ideas for an upcoming event. A big, big thanks to our friends at:

Paper props, pops of color, and vintage mementos — add a photo booth to the mix, and you’ve got Sarah and Carlos’ beautifully unique ceremony and reception. Held on a lovely March day, Vintage&Lace helped the couple plan their special day. The Confetti Committee created the playful ceremony backdrop and various decorations, including the adorable boutonnieres, which all helped to accent rentals from Premiere Party Central. Fleurish Austin created floral arrangements that matched the day perfectly and Whole Foods kept guests happy with delicious food and cake. The rest of the night was a party, with Hill Country DJ livening up the dance floor and guests getting silly in the Say Cheese photo booth.
A very special thank you to Briana Purser Photography for capturing Sarah and Carlos’ special day so beautifully and a big congratulations to the happy couple!
