We are thrilled to share these fantastic photos from Kaleen & Tom’s winter wedding under our clear, heated tent! The simple greenery with white florals complemented the Allan House perfectly and tastefully incorporated touches of their Irish heritage. This cute couple (or maybe just Tom) also added some personal touches to the decor with Star Wars koozies and a Death Star groom’s cake.

Lauren & Jake’s wedding took place under our expansive winter tent that was draped beautifully with a blush colored silk from none other than Loot Vintage Rentals. The two were married in front of a gorgeous arch adorned with greenery and a variety of colored roses, and the reception was jaw dropping thanks to the accent lighting and metal letters from Mancino Iron. Congrats to the happy couple!
Iris and Josh were married in the Fall under the gorgeous, clear rain plan tent. Vibrant florals from Exquisite Petals were breathtaking in every direction and Joyful Details had organized the wedding to a T. At sunset the outdoor courtyard was flipped for the reception and the space was completely swoon worthy!
Erica and Jerrelle’s wedding was exactly what comes to mind when we think “fairy tale.” Soft, romantic florals and a ribbon ceremony backdrop from STEMS Floral left everyone in awe during the ceremony. Then twinkle lights on the trees and under the pale pink draping set a magical tone as the sun dropped and the reception began. We love this wedding from beginning to end!
At the Allan House, our staff and preferred vendors are flexible and creative when it comes to helping our couples prepare for their wedding day. For a funky, yet peaceful and elegant wedding with positive vibes, a bohemian wedding is most likely just your style.
According to the experts at The Knot, the bohemian chic wedding is in this year. For the more free-spirited couples in Austin, our local companies have had the opportunity to design and perfect this wedding trend. Courtesy of Loot Vintage Rentals and Gypsy Floral Events are these breathtaking table and seating arrangements featured above and below.
When it comes to your color palette, the use of terracotta, mustard and orange with other natural earth tones will set the mood and lift everyone’s spirits. To carry out the boho wedding trend, a Woodstock-inspired, bell-sleeve wedding dress is just right for a bold and beautiful look.
Austin is known for its local and fresh attitude, so bring it into your wedding with organic flower arrangements, wooden dessert utensils that are Eco-friendly, or use natural accents such as driftwood. Bold aztec patterned rugs, crisp and airy white linens, and flowing, whimsical dream catchers will harmonize the space.
March is always a beautiful month here and we’re so happy to have played host to Elizabeth + Ricky’s wedding reception! The newlyweds and guests strolled across the street from their ceremony at the Central Catholic Church for some food, drinks, dancing and celebration. We love the beautiful, poppy florals from Gypsy Floral that helped to adorn the cake from Sweet Treets Bakery. Southern’s Fine Dining catered the reception and guests danced the night away to live music from Dysfunkshun Junkshun. Special thanks also to Premiere Events for providing rentals that made the night even more beautiful and to Yellow Umbrella Events for coordinating Elizabeth + Ricky’s big day!
Thanks to Tara Welch Photography for capturing these wonderful photographs!
Beautiful florals, a mariachi band and endless dancing — Claudia + Ryan’s June reception at The Allan House was one to remember! As guests entered the house, they were greeted by Mariachi Relampago and vintage photographs surrounding the timelessly beautiful cake by Sweet Treets Bakery. There was nothing but happy vibes as the bride and groom claimed their seats at the most adorable sweetheart table, adorned beautifully by STEMS Floral Design. Guests lounged around on rentals from Loot Vintage Rentals and Marquee Event Group. Catering by Pink Avocado made the night run smoothly as guests munched on their meals and gradually made their ways to the dance floor with ATX DJ. The newlyweds and guests danced the rest of the night away before Claudia + Ryan’s picture perfect sparkler send off.
This past February was a busy one at the Allan House, full of lovely events like Madison + Trevor’s Valentines Day reception! The newlyweds celebrated with their friends and loved ones, enjoying catering from Rosemary’s Catering, dancing to the tunes of Endless Entertainment and treating themselves to cake from Sweet Treets Bakery. The couple’s modern-style reception was accented by florals from Verbena Floral Design and their carriage send off was straight out of a fairy tale. Thanks to Hill Country Events and RKG Group for also helping to make Madison + Trevor’s big day so wonderful and to Matthew Danser Photography for the photographs!
Cheers to the happy newlyweds!
