
Located in the heart of downtown Austin, The Allan House offers a truly unique place for people to gather. The Victorian Mansion and spacious courtyard provide the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor space for wedding ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and special events of any kind.

With rental of The Allan House comes with use of both the indoor and outdoor space with it’s lovely parlors, wide verandas, and idyllic courtyard. In addition you’ll have up lighting in the trees and elegant lighting throughout the courtyards and ground, along with a covered nook for the DJ or band with up lighting. The rental also includes one hundred and fifty white folding chairs, nineteen sixty inch rounds, ten bistro tables, forty bistro chairs, one forty-eight inch cake table, and six six foot tables.

Visiting Hours & Information
The sales office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tours are given during business hours by appointment only and on some weekends. Please call us at 512.478.8653 or send us an email to schedule an appointment to tour the grounds!

Q:Can I bring in my own vendors?
A: Yes!
Q: What are the requirements of my bartender?
A: They must be TABC certified and have basic liability insurance of one million dollars.
Q: What is the rain plan?
A: We suggest that you reserve a tent from a rental company for the day of your event. We work with Marquee Events and Premiere Part Central on a regular basis. Often times the rental of the tent can be shared on weekends with multiple events.
Q: Can I purchase additional hours?
A: Yes, additional hours can be purchased for $400/hr.
Q: Who are your preferred vendors?
A: The list can be found on the side bar of any page of the website!
Q: What is included in the rental?
A: The rental rate includes the use of both the indoor and the outdoor space of the mansion. We have nineteen 60’’ round tables and 150 folding white chairs. These tables seat 8-10 people. We have six 6’ tables, one 48’’ round cake table, and 10 iron cafe style bistro tables along with 40 iron style cafe bistro chairs. The courtyard is also lit for the duration of the rental time.
Q: What size linens will I need to rent for the tables?
A: The 60’’ rounds require a 120’’ linen, the 48’’ cake table requires a 108’’ linen, and the 6’ tables are 90’’x132’’ linens. Also, if you choose to rent sashes for the chairs, 9’ x 8’’ will make for great chair ties.

A: Our rates do vary depending on the night of the week and the time of the year. For more information on rental rates please give us a call at 512.478.8653.
Q: What do my guests do about parking?
A: There are two parking lots that are available to rent across the street from The Allan House, as well as 40 metered parking spots on the block that are free on nights and weekends.
Q: What is required to reserve a date?
A: Half of the rental rate will confirm that the date is yours.
Q: Am I required to have a coordinator?
A: While we do not require that you have a coordinator, you are required to have a designated contact person that will be in charge of making sure everything is cleaned and removed from the grounds at the conclusion of the event.
